Meet your artist - Domi

Ever since I started tattooing for a living, I’ve learned one absolute truth — getting a tattoo sucks a lot less when you’re surrounded by good vibes. When you're in my chair, expect nothing less than a fun, stress-free day, finished off with a flawless tattoo. I take the art seriously, but never myself. It’s the exact reason I love being at Tattooed Llama — a safe place built around positive energy and unmatched client experience. Let’s hang out, have a laugh, and create a tattoo that you’ll absolutely love.

Frequently asked

How do I book a tattoo and what should I include?

Drop me a message on Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp or fill out the contact form (you can find it further down the page).

To speed things up, include a brief description of your idea, any reference images, the placement on your body, approximate size, and whether you want black & grey or colour.

I’ll check my availability and get right back to you.

Do you take walk-ins?
I mostly work strictly by appointment, but I do occasionally offer walk-in days or snap up last-minute cancellations. I always advertise these gaps on my social media first, so make sure you follow my pages for live updates!
How much does a tattoo cost?

I charge a transparent rate of £50 per hour, with a minimum charge of one hour — so a small piece that only takes half an hour still comes to £50.

Because everyone's skin type, pain tolerance, and design adjustments vary, it's tough to predict the exact minute a piece will finish.

I work as efficiently as possible to minimise your cost, and I will always give you a realistic estimate beforehand rather than a fixed quote.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in the diary. This is deducted from the final balance at the end of your session. You can check out the full details in the Booking Policy in the footer.
Can I bring my own design?
Absolutely. Whether it's your own drawing or a collection of reference images, I'm happy to look over it and adapt it into a custom piece that translates beautifully into a long-lasting tattoo.
Do you do cover-ups?
It depends entirely on the original tattoo. Some are straightforward to cover, while others are heavily saturated and might need a few sessions of laser treatment first. Send over a clear, well-lit photo of your existing ink along with your new idea, and I'll give you an honest assessment.
How should I prepare before my appointment?
Get a proper night’s sleep, eat a solid meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area we are tattooing.
What should I avoid before getting tattooed?

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your session (it thins the blood and affects the process), and ensure the skin in that area isn't sunburnt, peeling, or freshly tanned.

Please also don’t apply numbing cream — see the question below.

Can I use numbing cream before my appointment?

Please don’t — I don’t tattoo over numbing cream.

It firms up the skin, which stops the needle going in the way it normally would. To still get proper colour saturation I have to work over each area far longer, so the tattoo takes considerably more time and, because I charge by the hour, costs you noticeably more.

If you arrive with numbing cream already applied, I may not be able to tattoo you that day, and we’d need to cancel and rebook.

If pain is worrying you, message me before your appointment and we’ll sort it out — plenty of breaks, sensible session lengths, and I’m told I’m good company.

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or older. Under UK law, it is strictly illegal to tattoo anyone under 18, even with parental consent.

Valid ID will be required on the day.

What happens if I need to reschedule?
Just let me know as early as possible. Check out the Booking Policy linked in the footer to see how notice periods affect your deposit.
